This week, I still feel like I am no where on my list of things to do. I still need to finish the Cosmic Cowl post even though I posted pictures a couple of months ago. You may be wondering, “Why not do that now?”. I asked myself the same thing and thought, “I don’t really want to today.” I wanted to talk about this yarn a little before I have to go drop the kids off before going into work today.
Just look at it. I love knitting with this yarn so far. It is Coboo from The Lion Brand. It is 50% Cotton and 50% Rayon from Bamboo. This yarn hasn’t frayed as other yarns do when you’re working with it. It is smooth and soft. It can slide off the needles easily, but as long as you’re calm when you’re knitting/crocheting, it shouldn’t be too much trouble.
When I started knitting with this yarn, I felt how thin it is given the size. I thought it would be perfect for a fall hat. It has some air flow to
it, so hopefully it won’t make me hot when I wear it. That happens kind of easily. What do you use when you’re making hats for the fall or spring?
This is the last week of summer vacation for my district. The girls start school tomorrow! The schedule is different this year. They have longer breaks, but less of a summer. Next summer may be different than this summer though, we shall see. The boy goes to school in the county below us, so he starts in a week. He still gets out a week earlier than the girls. It kind of stinks with their schedules being off, but it gives everybody time with each other in different ways. So it’s not all bad.
Let me know if there is anything you guys want to see. Videos, certain patterns, ask me questions, anything!
